You must obtain the new residency card by 30<sup>th<\/sup> June 2021 as per the Withdrawal Agreement. It&#8217;s also important to get familiar with the Dutch tax system, which has a progressive tax rate. When driving in the Netherlands, you should always carry your driving licence, insurance documents, and ID such as a passport or residence permit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019ve decided to bring your UK-registered vehicle to the Netherlands, there&#8217;s a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/taking-vehicles-out-of-uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">list of mandatory procedures<\/a> you need to follow.
